Good food, pleasant surroundings, great staff.
We were in Ongar to catch a bus to go on the Santa Express steam train and had reserved a table to have lunch. We were met at the door with a friendly smile and shown to our table. There were a couple of options for the menu and we all choose from the festive one. I had a turkey, stuffing and cranberry club sandwich which was very large and tasted great, my son had a bacon sandwich which he thoroughly enjoyed. Very good coffee.

Been going here since it opened. At least once a week for three years. Excellent service. Impeccably clean. Consistently good food. Always gutted they have to have a day off and are closed on Mondays. Outrageous! Would highly recommend over other places if you are looking for a quick bite in the vicinity.
