Sandwiches not all that. Dry bread no pickle with cheese or ham. Bit pricey for what they are.Having said that their menu meals are excellent. Especially love the steak and kidney pudding.

Nice menu of British pub food. Very tasty, nicely presented with a friendly service in a comfortable setting. What more could you ask for? Will definitely go again.
Lovely old building and friendly staff, but the menu is old fashioned and the interior is also very dated and dirty looking. I had the mushroom bruscetta starter and for me the mushrooms were cut too small and a little overcooked. Main course I had mixed roast with lamb and pork, the pork was 1st class, perfectly cooked with crunchy not too hard crackling. The lamb was overcooked and everything else was just piled on the plate. Overall an enjoyable lunch, but everything needs a bit of an update.
Nice country Pub serving food but retained a good bar for people who just want a pint. Lovely big open fire in the cold weather. Very nice food and Sunday lunch is excellent.
