Went here on Boxing Day for family meal. From the moment of walking thru the door the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Food was really good and presented well with good service. Everybody really enjoyed it. Will definately be returning. Thank you
Proper pub, properly run, with a proper landlady and (a wide choice) of proper food, served on tables with proper tablecloths - even at lunchtime. First choice whenever passing near Chelmsford.
Lovely quaint traditional pub and a fantastic Sunday lunch. The staff are extremely welcoming and very friendly.they couldn't do enough to help us and my children on Sunday. The food is very good and portion size is excellent a really great family run business that I wish there were more of.
