Stayed here for a wedding a short drive away. Rooms were tiny but for what we paid it was very fair. Food was delicious. Lovely grounds
Very friendly, welcoming staff. Upgraded our room for no charge to make room for our travel cot. Beautiful location and wonderful gardens. Superb breakfast too and friendly staff again. Would highly reccomend.
The worse afternoon tea I have ever had. Nearly 78 for a few sandwiches and blancmange style cake instead of proper cake. That between 4 people instead of per person! The scones and surroundings were nice though. I had an amazing time because I was with my friends not because of the food or price!Also, the English Breakfast Tea was overly stewed/steeped. It was grey and horrible.As my friends and I reflect over the experience, we can not believe how terrible our experience was. No luxury. Nothing traditional and English. Not as advertised on their misleading website. Ugly china. I have had better china in hospital!
I have filmed two weddings here now. Beautiful venue. The geese and chicks are just too cute . The bridal suite is large, bright and airy. The ceremony room is a good size. The reception room is huge. Really loved working here both times. Hope to go back in 2019.
Very beautiful place! Very relaxing. Nice and quiet, clean and tidy, some special atmosphere, staff is very friendly. Service was 5*! I loved it and will return here! And definitely I recommend it to everyone! It's not so far from London, but really you feel like you are on some countryside
